Road Work - Pimlico Entrance

All Homeowners please be advised that the west side of the Pimlico entrance will soon be closed for repairs. A specific date has not been set at this time, but the repairs are anticipated to begin either the Thursday or Friday after the Fourth of July or during the week of July 9. When the City notifies the Developer of the exact date, Aria will send another email with that specific date. We will do our best to give you at least a day’s notice but please understand we may not be given that option. 
 
The road is expected to be closed a minimum of 6 days. After the repairs are completed, the road must remain closed for 4 days for the concrete and asphalt to set completely. Barriers will be in place to let you know that traffic must be diverted. When the barriers are not there, traffic can proceed as usual. 

Traffic exiting Carrington can use the right side of the Pimlico entrance during the repair. Traffic into Carrington during the repair must use the Moorgate entrance or the 36th Ave NW entrance. This is a great opportunity to check out the newest amenities around Kensal Rise and Ravenscourt! Did you know that there are two dog parks, a soccer field and a basketball court available for homeowner use??

Please inform the teenage drivers in your household as well as potential guests of the road closure. There will be zero tolerance for traffic on the repaired road until the barriers are removed. In other words, under NO circumstances should any driver attempt to go around the barriers. 

Heavy trucks have contributed to the deterioration of the street. We do ask that if you have heavy trucks coming to your house to deliver shingles, lumber, drywall, concrete, etc., please ask them to use either the Moorgate entrance or the 36th Ave NW entrance.  (Now and after the repair is completed.)

The maintenance of the street is the responsibility of the City. However, they will not agree to put the stained, stamped pattern back into the concrete after the repairs are complete. In order to maintain continuity on both sides of the entrance, the Developer is going to be financially responsible for that piece of the repair. No homeowner dues will be used for this purpose.

Information Needed

It has been brought to our attention that last night lawn and construction equipment was stolen from a locked shed on development land.  The shed is located just off Kingsland Road on the Carrington Lakes side of the addition.  The POA is asking that if anyone has any information and or security camera footage they contact Aria Real Estate Group at 701-8881 or hoa@ariagroupok.com. There will be a $500 reward leading to an arrest.
